I listened to this African Song by the name” Nheamamusasa," which is also known as the "Cutting branches for shelter."This song is chosen to listen to is a part of the Shona Mbira Music. In this song, this African musical Instruments known as a Thumb Piano have been used in this specific African music(2019). The first time I listened to this particular song, the sounds from the instruments used in the song attracted my full attention. Later on, after the intro sound from the devices, more tools come in making this song more intriguing, making me develop a taste of wanting to listen to this song several times. The song has a definite feel, which made me feel relax when I heard the song. The melody from this specific song is very soothing as compared to other themes from other songs I had earlier listened to. The instruments sound from this songs makes me feel like I am on a beach with sand spreading for miles and clear blue water surrounding me. I think that Mbira tradition as a reflection from this song is how African Music has a mighty power to transform taste to African Musiocs(2019).

The Girl From Ipanema

I listened to this song “The Girl From Ipanema," which was a famous song from Brazil. When I heard the song, the theme of the song was capturing an Innocent crush on a Carioca girl(Amador, 2019). This specific song was written by Antonio Carlos Jobim and Vinicius de Moraes in the year 1962. When I listened to the song I felt inspired, and I was much attracted by the mixture of Samba rhymes and Jazz in this specific song. The verse in this song captured my attention and made me listen to this song in a private environment. The instrument used is a piano the melody from the keyboard is very inspirational. When is attended to the song severally, I heard that the writer of this song was inspired by a seventeen-year-old girl who the writer had a crush on(Amador, 2019). This specific song has a beautiful melancholic constant ebb and inspirational flow. I like this song since it is unique with the combination of piano melody and inspirational lyrics, it makes me feel like am the position of the Girl From Ipanema.

When I listened to this specific song, it's very melodic in combination with tres starting and craves used as well("Cuarteto Oriente," 2019).. When I listened to this song the I realized the instruments used in the composing of this song is a six-string guitar with pairs of harmonizing strings which sounded like a harpsichord like a twang which made the song attractive and very entertaining. The melodic sound from the guitar used in this song is followed by acoustic bass, and then three percussion instruments come in. I watched, the video of this song too and I, noticed that the performers of this song are in full voice and the craft in the song crafted the art of this song. The musicians involved in this song are very santiagueros, the Cuban Son Basnd made this song to be very fantastic I enjoyed the song when I was listening to it("Cuarteto Oriente," 2019)..

La Maria Chuchena

I listened to this music “La Maria Chuchena “ which is a Mexican Music. When I heard the song, I realized that the song had a unique Music structure referred to as Son Jaroco Style The music instrument used in this specific song was a traditional Jarocho instrument. ("Music of Latin America Test #1: Listening Examples Only Flashcards | Quizlet", 2019)The song had different sections, such as performance parts and a singing part. When I listened to the song, I heard that the song it had sung sections with both call and response sections. When I watched the video of this song, I realized that animals characters had been featured in this specific song. The music was very engaging and very melodic, the soloist of this song sings the melody, and the rest of the musicians in this particular music repeats the same but with a very distinct lyrics. The uniqueness of this song made me feel relaxed, the repeated melody by the musicians attracts my attention, this music is unique and very excellent I can listen to this music several times due to its uniqueness from the other music I had earlier heard too.

When I listened to this individual song I realized that the song had been composed with a very romantic lyrics, the music usually played in a plodding march, and the song too posed a vague tempo which can be described as a martial manner(2019). As I listened to the song the melodic and harmonic contents in the song attracted my attention, some song composition has melancholic and romantic parts. The song had long phrases which were very engaging, some of the song parts were faster in a manner but with very playful characters. I realized as I listened to this specific song that despite the song being very romantic, the song it was too very rheumatic which sounds from a piano or a bombarding orchestra. The song was very enticing and very engaging with very passionate contents, which attracted my full attention(2019).
