😎 MUSIC 101 BLUES PROJECT 😎
1. Write a blues melody using the notes of the C Blues scale on pg. 111 in your textbook
These next steps are not required…but why not try?
2. Write lyrics below your melody (under the staff) it’s a good way to get the Blues out!
3. Experiment with a new accompaniment rhythm in the bass clef (keep the same chords)
OPTION 1. Print pg. 2 of this document and use a pencil to write your melody
OPTION 2. Download pg. 2 of this pdf and use this application with this tutorial to write on the pdf

Use the free music notation software MuseScore by following these steps:
a. Download Musescore install on your PC/Apple; mobile app does not write music (playback only)
b. Download the Blues Project TEMPLATE and open it in MuseScore
c. Click Note entry, then the rhythmic symbol (quarter note, eighth note etc.) and write on!
