On December 28, 2000, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, four Philadelphia men, Shihean Black, Bruce Veney, Dawud and Khalid Faruqi , entered into a West Philadelphia drug inhabited row home, 816 N. Lex Street, with the intent to rob the occupiers. The four masked gunmen rallied all 10 people from the first and second floor of the home into one consolidated area and relieved them of drugs, money, and belongings. During the robbery one of the men, mask came off. After the robbery, the gunmen with the intentions to conceal there identity laid down the 10 people and opened fire on them. The four men then fled the scene. 7 of the 10 people robbed were killed. 23 months, and eight suspects later the four Philadelphia men were arrested and charged.
Possible crimes committed were: Murder, Robbery, Trespass, Assault, Attempted Murder, Drug Possession, Conspiracy, Weapon Possession, and Theft.
