PURPOSE

Better understand hunter-gatherer societies and their development.

Work towards understanding the role of art in Paleolithic humans.

Investigate early methods of communication and “humanness” in early humans.

Relate to physical and tactile challenges of expression without language.

PROCESS

Using similar Stone Age tools, not necessarily identical, (crayons if you must)

draw a scene of your choosing.

When finished with your drawing, write a short essay (maybe 3-5 paragraphs or longer if necessay) explaining the purpose of your art work.
