Security and Criminal Justice Scenario

The topic that I chose out of the six scenarios is security and criminal justice. This scenario gave information on predicting the number of United States population that will be supervised by correctional system in 2018. This topic was interesting to me because I am an employed as a security personal and plan on earning my degree in criminal justice at University of Phoenix. I’m also interested in this topic because of the overall crowed prisons and jails, and how this can affect my future job or how it can potentially create more jobs since the over population of inmates. While this topic is related to population in the correctional system, it is still a very interesting topic to me and how the collected data can help determine if this will be a problem or will benefit some in the job force. Just looking at the numbers is not a surprise that this over population will create job opportunity for some. I’m not sure what the data outcome will be, but it is evident that many people are being supervised at different correctional system around the U.S. I do hope to prove that many of the inmates are being release on parole of probation instead of being housed at correctional institutions.
