• CO2: Collaboratively assess the problems, strengths, and goals of individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities in a manner that embraces their expertise, analyzes the effects of oppression and trauma, and understands systems interactions from local to global levels.
• CO3: Empower individuals, families, groups, organizations and communities to solve problems, heal, and create vibrant lives through culturally valid, empirically supported, feedback-responsive methods at all ecological levels.
• CO 4: Evaluate assessment, prevention, and intervention methods to ensure effectiveness and integration of client cultural identities, values and practices, both for development as a global social worker and for the improvement of practice settings.
Guidelines Evaluations are used to measure a student’s progress in the field. Students will be evaluated by their field site instructors based on the goals and tasks outlined in the Learning Agreement. Students and field instructors should meet to review the learning agreement and the results of the evaluation. Consider how your field education experience fulfilled the goals and objectives in your agency learning agreement. Reflect on what you would like to gain in future professional development.
After the review, write and submit a 1-2 page addendum with the following responses:
• Describe whether you met or did not meet the goals/objectives in your agency learning agreement, referencing the results from your evaluation.
• Describe potential areas where you might need improvement in relation to social work practice skills.
• Describe how your practicum experience influenced your professional goals and identity.
