Rewrite your Week 1 Thought Essay, while expanding it suitably to attain a countable length of 1,400 words (as reckoned from the beginning of the introduction to the end of the conclusion, excluding quoted and parenthetical text).

The object of this essay is to exercise formalizing your work and formatting it entirely in APA style. Before starting this rewriting project, review the Writing Standards as posted in the Start Here module. Then download the sample APA-styled paper in Course Materials for Week 6.

In essence, you will be repairing any deficiencies in your original Thought Essay, modifying or adjusting your ideas as you deem appropriate based on your studies since that time, adding citations to support selected ideas, reformatting your work to fit the requirements of APA style, and adding the additional required sections for that same purpose.

Criteria

This is a complete essay of 1,400 words, with title page, abstract, body, and reference section. Cite the textbook (no more than three times) and at least five qualifying sources from the Troy University Library. The syllabus specifies the rules for selecting qualifying sources.
