Construct an evaluation plan for the public health program. Use the CDC’s Framework for Program Evaluation (refer to the Learning Resources). Your written assignments must follow APA guidelines. Be sure to support your work with specific citations from the Learning Resources and additional scholarly sources as appropriate. Refer to the Pocket Guide to APA Style to ensure your in-text citations and reference list are correct. Your Course Project expectations for each week are as follows: Week 1: Summary of Public Health Program Plan and Purposes of Evaluation complete this section of your evaluation plan (1–2 pages). Remember, this will not be submitted until Week 5. This section includes the following: o Title and mission statement of your program o A description of the target population of the program o The location of the public health program o A description of two or three stakeholders in the program (do not use any personally identifying information) o An explanation of two potential challenges you may face when evaluating Week 2: Program Evaluation Plan—Goals and Objectives, Evaluation Design, and Types of Evaluation Complete this section of your evaluation plan (2–3 pages). Remember, this will not be submitted until Week 5. This section includes the following: o A description of one outcome goal (long term), one impact goal (short term), and at least two objectives for each goal from your public health program plan o A description of the evaluation design that would be most appropriate to guide your program evaluation and an explanation of why o A description of two types of evaluation that you could use to evaluate your public health program plan and an explanation of why these are appropriate o A description of the strengths and limitations of your selected evaluation design and types of evaluation Week 3: Program Evaluation Plan—Data Collection: Standards of Program Evaluation Complete this section of your program evaluation plan (2–3 pages). Remember, this will not be submitted until Week 5. This section includes the following: o An explanation of how your program evaluation plan meets the six steps of the CDC’s Framework for Program Evaluation o An explanation of which areas of your program evaluation plan meet the CDC’s four sets of Evaluation Standards: utility, feasibility, proprietary, and accuracy o An explanation of which areas of your program evaluation plan do not meet the CDC’s standards and why o An explanation of how you might improve your program evaluation to better align with the CDC’s standards Week 5: Dissemination of Program Evaluation Results & Creating a Timeline A Gantt or PERT Chart that: o Justifies the timeline for the program evaluation. o Explains how and to whom you will disseminate your program evaluate
