The class has been quite enjoyable, with various lessons learned depicting high-level competence that will go a long way in helping the same be applied in various levels, either in the workplace or in any sector.

Accountability

Competency was met.

I learned there is a need always to account for anyone to account for his actions, whether; leading others or being led. In all undertakings, one should be able to self-regulate and ensure that their actions are well within the powers and should not take advantage of either power of influence to act contrary to the expectations or the dictates of the position(adSch,2019).

One needs to know his roles and be responsible by not over-committing. When one becomes accountable for their deeds, they effectively teach others to value their work, and that increases the accountability and confidence of others (Schad, 2019). The benefits that one accrues from being accountable improve performance, promote ownership, and help in building trust.

L5 Collaboration

Competency in the area was met in a well-exhibited manner.

I learned that collaboration is very instrumental and helps achieve a task with ease when people work together to share their ideas. A strong sense of purpose is founded through collaboration, which helps to undertake tasks quickly.

Collaboration is founded on identifying and sharing social, instructional practices consistent with the rules. Collaboration can be demonstrated by discussing work challenges on team communication channels and brainstorming with whiteboards.

Communication Skills

Competency in the area was met.

The art of one's view while respecting the views of others was achieved in the area.

Learning and differentiating when writing in both formal and informal is critical and goes a long way in ensuring that organizations succeed in their objectives. Communication skills enable individuals to understand others and to be understood themselves.

Both verbal and non-verbal cues should be employed in communication to make it enjoyable and effective (Schad,2019).. Communication involves what is referred to as seven Cs, which are concise, clear, concrete, correct, coherent, complete, and courteous.

To lead either in an organization or any place, one must learn to have influence and impact. The formidable combination of the two brings about a leader or a person who can efficiently and effectively deliver on his duties or obligations. Learning to listen to the views of others and own personal conscience is essential since one makes a decision that is helpful since it's a combination of own view and those of others. It's essential to listen and understand what others say and then offer objective views or dissent appropriately(Schad, 2019). one should also learn to interrogate others even when they do not utter a word. One can read their emotions and make a decision.

Organizational awareness

is founded on the insight to apply formal and informal roles and structures in either personal or other organizations. Organizational awareness helps manage proactive change in an organization as it aids in improving staffing decisions, team building, and effective leadership.
