In this assignment, you will create a problem statement based on your scholarly evidence and data review.
Prompt
In Module Two, you learned how a particular problem in criminal justice affects both the general public and the criminal justice system. You also identified a factor that contributes to a criminal justice problem by conducting a review of the literature. You will now apply this knowledge to create a problem statement. This is the first draft of your problem statement. You will have the chance to apply feedback and improve your problem statement to include in your project submission in Module Seven.
Specifically, the following rubric criteria must be addressed in your problem statement:
- Identify the nature of a criminal justice problem.
- Explain the significance of a criminal justice problem.
- Describe the impact of a criminal justice problem. Be sure to address the following questions in your description:
- Who is affected by the problem?
- How are they affected?
