In Module Seven, you will develop two of the final pieces of your research report by adding the data analysis and conclusions sections. Using the information from the text and feedback from the Module Six discussion topic, you will conduct and present data analysis in Milestone Three. As you develop the data analysis plan, you will begin to explore an important aspect of the research: the final research report that communicates the findings to all stakeholders.

The intent of the research report is to communicate the methods (how you conducted the research) and the results or actions required based on your findings (Sekaran & Bougie, 2016). The report tells the stakeholder the “story” of the research from the problem statement to the conclusions, thus the report will have clear phases presenting important research information. The assigned readings will present all elements of the report and will provide examples for guidance as you develop your final report. An additional discussion is presented on the oral presentation of the report. While this is not required as an exercise in this course, presenting the report to a group of stakeholders (managers, your boss, etc.) is a typical exercise in a business setting.
