Student’s response:
Hello Class,
As the social and technical issues that need to be considered when adopting E-government within the local government have been considered the e-government is not only associated with the adoption of information technology but also the adoption of advanced forms of information technology. The adoption of e-government has immense potential for local governments to improve their service delivery, better engage their stakeholders, and enhance citizen participation in government (Manoharan, 2020). However, the adoption of e-government there has been many risks of failure, which has then resulted in project failure, system failures, or user failures. The evolution of e-government tools is the adoption of innovations that are driven by certain attributes of government capacity that are mostly fixed and permeant (Manoharan, 2020). E-government has come along with technology advancing the article I located helped understand the adoption and growth of e-government as it continuously changes and is always trying to meet the citizen’s needs.
