Overview

An essen�al part of developing cri�cal analysis skills is self‐reflec�on. In this ac�vity, you will have the opportunity to consider how cri�cally analyzing your topic of diversity has affected your life and how you view the world around you. This

is your �me to think about your personal experiences and your beliefs, assump�ons, and values. Comple�ng this ac�vity will result in a dra� of the reflec�on sec�on of your project. It also provides an opportunity to obtain valuable feedback

from your instructor that you can incorporate into your project submission.

Direc�ons

In this ac�vity, you will describe how using cri�cal analysis influences your life and your perspec�ves. First, you will describe how cri�cal analysis skills have affected your personal experience. Next, you will describe how examining your bias

has influenced how you perceive the world. Finally, you will explain how cri�cal analysis skills can posi�vely impact your academic or professional lives.

Specifically, you must address the following rubric criteria:

1. Describe how cri�cally analyzing your topic has posi�vely informed your personal experience.

2. Describe how examining your bias has altered the way you perceive the world.

3. Explain how cri�cally analyzing diversity can posi�vely influence your field of study or profession.

What to Submit

Submit your short paper as a 1‐ to 2‐page Microso� Word document with double spacing, 12‐point Times New Roman font, and one‐inch margins. Sources should be cited according to APA style. Consult the Shapiro Library APA Style
