. Style format where appropriate) with the following additions:

· Propose a statistical test that, after conducted, will provide valuable data to your airport to make strategic decisions for future growth.

· Describe what data will be needed for that test and state the research hypotheses.

This is open ended - just like a problem you would face in the workplace. The goal here is to formally apply what you have learned in this chapter without having to perform the grueling computations (that is what you will do in your Master’s Capstone).

Enjoy, have fun, and remember all of this can be used when you are applying for a job, building partnerships, etc.

3. Formal Paper (Module 8): Make appropriate recommendations to the airport that has been your focus in discussions, combining knowledge of the airport’s issue and statistical techniques that can help them make business decisions. Compose your APA-style paper by synthesizing the accumulated information and findings from your discussions. Accurately apply statistical techniques from this course to publically available data for the airport or use example data (from another airport, historical data, from a similar industry, carefully manufactured, etc.). Include summarized data and charts – carefully citing sources – to support conclusions and recommendations. Treat this challenge as an open- ended problem you would face in the workplace.

The Statistical Airport Paper is due by the end of Module 8.

a. Paper: Students will incorporate the discussion topics into a single paper with 6-8 pages of content, prepared using the most current APA format. Writing should reflect college level work. Do not forget the basics such as spelling, grammar, and style. No late papers accepted for any reason.

b. Grading: Your paper will earn a maximum score of 100 and is worth 20% of the course grade. The grading rubric is printed below.
