Discussion Prompts: Initial Post

Even though you did not review many cancers in this course, cancers continue to be one of the leading causes of deaths for humans.

1. Using the CDC website on  Kinds of Cancer Links to an external site. , research one form of cancer. Include basic information in your post about the cancer, statistics, and any interesting facts from the website. Why did you choose this type of cancer? Please do not duplicate another student’s selection.

1. Include information from ANOTHER source (other than the CDC) about the cancer that you are responding to. You should include extra information that the initial post may have missed (such as prognosis or treatment). It is recommended that you also utilize the LIRN Library when conducting research for this activity. You can access the LIRN Library in your Canvas navigation bar.
