Module 6 Project – Final AD Forest Design
Background
ACME Widgets is a multinational corporation with several divisions. ACME clients include U.S. and international manufacturers and some US military contractors. ACME Widgets hired you as a consultant to design the Active Directory logical diagram.
ACME Corporate structure:
· ACME Navigation - the largest division, is involved in design and manufacture of electronic components used in navigation systems.
· ACME Defense - is involved in design and manufacture of electronic components used in weapons guidance systems.
· ACME IC– this division’s mission is to design and manufacture custom IC (integrated circuits) and specialty chips as a subcontractor to OEMs.
· ACME Software – this division provided outsourcing software development services.
ACME logical framework
ACME Widgets corporate entity has been setup as a forest root domain. The name Acme-widgets.biz was registered as an external DNS name. All internal divisions have been setup as child domains of the Forest Root domain Acme-widgets.biz

ACME Network Infrastructure
Each ACME Widgets division is setup as a separate Active Directory root domain. All divisions combined are currently deploying approximately 100 Windows 2016 servers (including virtual servers) located in 3 data center sites located in San Francisco (50 servers), Tampa (30 servers), and Shenzhen, China (30 servers).

Project Deliverables
ACME Widgets hired you as a consultant to help them improve the Active Directory Forrest design. You are asked to design a Forest diagram using the information from the table above.
Modify the ACME Widgets Active Directory Forest diagram to include all corrections from prior projects.
1. Update the Active Directory Domain and OU diagram to include all the domains and all the OUs. Properly label all objects. Save the Visio diagram as a JPG image. Insert that JPG image of the Visio diagram in the picture place holder below.
2. Update the Active Directory Site diagram to include all the domains and sites. Properly label all objects. Save the Visio diagram as a JPG image. Insert that JPG image of the Visio diagram in the picture place holder below.
