1. Question successfully integrates one or more quotations from the text [2 Points]

2. Integration is smooth (i.e., does not come in the form of a QUOTE BOMB) [2 Points]

3. Quotations are cited according to MLA style [2 Points]

4. Question is open-ended and invites extended discussion (i.e., question is not simplistic, it cannot lead to an easy yes or no answer [2 Points]

5. Question does not contain any direct references to the student or his/her classmates (i.e., I, we, us, etc.) [2 Points]
