Purpose Statement

A purpose statement gives the organization direction and represents its sole purpose of existence as well as the organization’s position within the industry. The purpose statement for Hall Ambulance is setting a standard of excellence in responding to emergencies and related job requirements by which all other organizations will use to measure their performance. The interviewee categorically stated that the firm's purpose is to deliver the most responsive and efficient ambulance response services and superior pre-hospital patient care through thorough training, technology, and leadership. The ambulance company also seeks to bring their services closer to local communities. Hall Ambulance is a company established with the people’s wishes and needs at heart. The purpose statement shows that the company is oriented towards ensuring that all people within the community are represented and cared for in times of emergency. In the same context, the purpose of the organization highlights the major inputs that the company seeks to deliver to the community. This is critical because it allows the organization to identify with the services that they deliver.

Most importantly the Hall Ambulance purpose statement sets their position within the industry. The organization seeks to become a metric of measurement and an element of comparison performance-wise. This is critical in ensuring that they aim for the top instead of competing blindly. According to the interview, the purpose statement shows that the organization has the means and methodology to achieve their set goals and become an industry champion. The objectives of the organization will be achieved through thorough training and skill-set oriented hiring, technology, and a robust leadership system. According to the interview, it is obvious that all the employees at Hall ambulance understand the reason for the company’s existence; to provide ambulance and emergency services throughout California. Hall Ambulance Company’s purpose statement gives the public an accurate and concrete understanding of what to expect when it comes to emergency services.
