Overview

Instructions

1. Listen to the NPR story "Debate: Is it Time to Abolish the Death Penalty?" Audio Transcripts for Debate: Is it Time to Abolish the Death Penalty?
2. Write a summary of the NPR program. The summary should be 3-4 pages in length.
3. Provide a recommendation as to whether the death penalty should be abolished. This recommendation should include an analysis of the Constitutional rights of the inmates on death row. This recommendation should be 1-2 paragraphs.
4. The entire paper should be approximately 4-5 pages in length, double spaced.
