YouTube is a productive way for businesses to interact with different followings through promotions. The Ridge, producers of ridge wallet, have utilized sponsorships through different YouTube channels, such as Tigerbelly with comedian Bobby Lee, to spread their brand name. The Ridge started sponsoring videos in 2017 and boasts over 500 million views through the channels they've partnered with. Interestingly, in an interview, the chief operating officer for The Ridge described the company as "industry agnostic", supporting this by describing that the company does not have preferences on who they partner with or what channel (Eilon, 2021). This approach allows the company to engage a wider audience which isn't limited to any specific culture or sub-genre. They base their offers for sponsorship off of expected viewership from the channels recent history which is a smart approach to determining realistic expected market results.

Question 1: Describe the situation in which you experienced “being different” and explain how you felt.
My colleagues, I believe, are a year or two older than I am. As a result, I'm beginning to notice a chasm between myself and my more knowledgeable coworkers.
Question 2: What did you do as a result of “being different”? (In what ways did your behavior change due to the feeling of “being different”?)
No age-related disadvantage existed for me that I did not account for. Actually, my elderly relatives seek for my assistance when it comes to utilizing technology or solving issues that arise in the digital realm.
Question 3: As a result of that experience, how will you behave differently in the future when put in a similar situation or when you see others in the situation?
If you keep an open mind, it is easy to initiate conversations with people who are older or younger than you.
Question 4: What is the overall characterization of the organizational culture profile where you work or where you have worked in the past? (See Chapter 15 in Organizational Behavior)
Thanks to my current work, I have a range of relevant professional knowledge. I have the feeling that the company has a pleasant and effective culture.
Question 5: How is a culture of diversity measured at your workplace? (This is an opportunity to talk with your HR Manager.)
Our organization supports diversity because we all have varied backgrounds.
My present employment has provided me with a ton of valuable professional experience. The company culture, in my opinion, is advantageous and productive. Our company supports diversity since we all come from diverse backgrounds, which is a fantastic and magnificent thing. Thanks to my current work, I have a range of relevant professional knowledge. I have the feeling that the company has a pleasant and effective culture. Our organization embraces diversity since we all have different backgrounds, which is a beautiful and lovely thing.

As a member of the Navy at the support rate of "Logistics Specialist," I am very familiar with this situation. Most LSs spend their operational tours stationed on ships. Once in a while, we receive orders to report to Construction Battalions (or Seabees), a small and specialised community within the Navy that does not serve on ships but rather has a variety of operational tours. The United States Navy's Seabees serve as a model of organisational culture (Organizational Behavior, 2017).
Understanding the meaning of the word "tribal" is one of the most challenging lessons I teach with my fellow LSs who are assigned to my charge. When we LSs end up with the "Seabees Tribe," I make sure they know that coming from the Fleet, which is its own tribe, it's important to understand that we were sent here so we can learn to blend in, to coexist. Minor adjustments, such as "bunning" hairs for females even though regulation says it is optional, and major ones, like learning their own vocabulary, nouns and verbs unique to their kind of environment and operation, are required for us to fit in. If you act differently when it comes to things that are important to them, they will see you as an outsider trying to fit in. No matter what the members of your tribe tell you, there are some aspects of your identity that you will never change. It is up to you to decide if making that sacrifice is worth it.
When what is being asked of you is too much, such as changing a major part of who you are or what is expected of you ethically just so you will feel included in the group, it is best to observe first, adapt second, and if necessary "never compromise."
When I think back to where I came from, it's like comparing two completely different worlds. To begin with, the Seabees are a highly specialised subset of the United States Navy. However, given the high concentration of Seabees in any given command, they likely make up at least 70% of the total workforce. Having the attitude that since we are a part of their community, we should cater to their preferences regardless of the situation, in my experience they isolate themselves from alternative perspectives. In my home base of the Fleet, we all dealt with problems on an equal footing, without favoritism of any kind.
The United States Navy is one of the largest and most diverse organizations in the world. Aside from the expected differences in terms of race, gender, religion, and ethnicity, the United States military also features a wide range of representation from different regions of the country and even some of the US's overseas possessions. Immigrants are allowed to serve in the military upon arrival in the United States, regardless of their ancestry, so long as they meet all other eligibility requirements. Members of the armed forces range in education level from those who have only completed high school (with a GED) to those who have completed graduate school (with a Ph.D.).
The United States Navy is one of the oldest institutions in the country, and it has learned over the course of its history the importance of fostering a diverse workforce. This diversity includes not only people with different backgrounds and perspectives, but also people who think in different ways about the same problems and solutions. Because the Navy knows that its mission can only be accomplished through the efforts of skilled and cooperative individuals, it gives those individuals wide latitude in terms of their personal identities and backgrounds.
The Navy has had to deal with problems arising from its diverse population for the better part of a century. The Navy has a system in place where each officer and sailor has a voice and where problems can be discussed and possibly resolved. Of course, the Navy and the rest of the US Military work under the adage "acceptance does not mean agreement" because not everyone will share the same beliefs on everything. (MyNavy HR, current)
