Summary of Module Content:

Module 4 focused on two areas of knowledge. Module 4.1 presented you

with a number of very useful visual representations of requirements

modules, including Swimlane Diagram, Dialog Map and State Transition

Diagram. You should know that each diagram is used to model a di�erent

aspect of the system, and you should now be able to select the correct

diagram to use when you want to understand more about a speci�c aspect

of the system.

Module 4.2 looked at requirement validation process. You learnt the V

model of software development. The inspection process, the roles and

responsibilities involved in the process, the steps and the defect checklist

tool.
