The important key to harnessing the power to that technology is through Unified Communications and various organizations are increasingly aware of its potential rise shortly. A simple definition of unified communication states that – “Unified Communications (UC) refers to a typical phone system that integrates multiple cloud communication methods within a business for the organization” Francis, E. (2019). Covid-19 has accelerated the shift of communications to digital channels and companies must adopt it as soon quickly. The call flows and distribution are very difficult to manage during this lockdown remotely and companies have shifted their gears to unified communications for a proper business continuity plan to be in process and do not interrupt the production systems and overall business.
