Summary of Module Content:

In this module you learnt about how microservices are modelled and designed in

both ‘green�elds’ contexts and contexts where an existing system needs to be

decomposed from an existing monolith into a myriad of microservices. The learning

activities explored the theoretical concepts and models associated with the

philosophy of microservices architecture and key frameworks. This lays the

foundations for a further discussion of how organisations can structure their software

engineering e�orts and teams to meet the speed and scale requirements that align

with microservices initiatives.
