Meanwhile, it is determined by Guragai, et al. (2017) that in terms of information systems, security is one of the main ethical issues and concerns that tend to arise. It is determined by them that information systems are quite insecure and there is always a possibility or a risk that the security might be breached, and information or data might not be secured. It is more than just a little important to note that since security is not that strong, there is a possibility that the information might be stolen and if it is ever stolen, it can be used for all the purposes as desired by criminals (Guragai, Nicholas C. Hunt, Neri, & Taylor, 2017).
In contrast, Ryan (2019) determines that when it comes to information systems, there is a possibility that human mistakes might occur and the information might also be stolen (Ryan, 2019). Masclet & Goujon (2012) determines that there is also a risk that a natural disaster might occur and the information might be lost (Masclet & Goujon, 2012). The journal articles are quite similar and there are only specific differences in the perspectives of authors. For instance, some authors determine that information systems are insecure while some authors determine that information systems are not only insecure but are susceptible to several other issues and risks. The concerns and the discussions provided in the articles tend to cover the premise of the chapter in the textbook. For instance, they determine that a number of ethical issues arise with the use of information systems and there is a need to resolve or address all these issues. Currently, I am not employed but I believe that these issues can be effectively resolved through the strengthening of security and training of employees.
