Module 05: Virtuous Leadership Practical Application Paper

Virtuous Leadership Virtues:   

· Prudence: to make right decisions.

· Courage: to stay the course and resist pressures of all kinds. 

· Self-Control: to coordinate passions to the spirit and fulfillment of the mission at hand. 

· Justice: to give every individual his due.

· Magnanimity: to strive for great things, to challenge myself and others.

· Humility- to overcome selfishness and serve others habitually 

Paper Requirements:

Write a 5-6 page paper that explains each virtue and addresses application of the virtue in the workplace. The application section is a self-reflection,therefore, first person is acceptable.  For example, how would you practice humility? Provide specific examples that demonstrate an understanding of the concept presented, practical application, and possible challenges.  Support your application section with additional information from the Havard book and journal articles. 

· Your paper is required to be formatted in APA (7th edition) using the student paper guidelines. 

· 4.5-6.5 pages is acceptable. If you are below or above the acceptable page requirements you will be docked points. 

· Include a title page 

· You do NOT need an abstract

· Avoid trite sayings, slang, and contractions.

· Create headings in the body of the paper (between the Introduction and Conclusion) that are named based on the content in that section of the paper. For example, each virtue should be a level one header. 

· Include a reference page with a minimum of five references (the course textbook and four peer-reviewed journal articles from Welder Library eResources or Google Scholar).

· Journal Articles should be from the last 10 years (2010-2020)

·  If you list a source as a reference, you must include an in-text citation within your paper for that source.
