In this assignment, we will examine several areas of interest to the sociology of religion in a set of mini-lessons, as attached here. There are no assigned Christiano chapters for this lesson; simply select and read two of these Lesson 6 subtopics, along with the required reading listed within each mini-lesson. These subtopics are intended to stimulate discussion and critical thinking about issues of interest in the sociology of religion. You may pay a bit more attention to one subtopic in your assignment if you wish, but you should read AND discuss the second at least well enough to meet the assignment requirements.
