Luckily for me, perhaps the manager I admire the most is the manager I am currently working for.  His name is Dan, and he has been a part owner of the company, and when it was sold, he retained a job as a top level manager.  Two roles he fulfills are being a leader and a great resource allocator.  He leads by example, and I don't think anyone at our company would disagree that he is one of the hardest working people there.  He also takes resource allocation very seriously by strictly monitoring scrap from jobs and making sure that profits from scrap are effectively organized and sold to invest further into our company and its employees.  He offers incentives, and gets people excited to come to work and to be successful.  I think his interpersonal skills are perhaps the biggest reason he has been so successful.

I received a new position at the start of the school year as Physical Education paraprofessional. I absolutely love this job compared to the position I had prior. My new boss which is a prinicipal is a very nice guy. I have worked for several other people in the past who I was not to fond of because of their style of managing but so far he seems to be pretty nice. So far from what I can tell he his a stickler for time. He likes to make sure that all teachers and staff are punctual. He he is a great motivator, he wants to see the students succeed so he makes sure that the staff is well equipped with knowledge needed. He also allows room for growth and makes it clear that if there is another position available that we would like to switch to once the year is out we can interview for it. So for me that makes him a great lead. Mr. Payne and all the other AP’s are great communicators. Email is used quite frequently throughout the day to send messages and that I like. A lot of counties have budgets for conferences so he able to set a limit to the amount each staff member is allotted to attend conferences which makes him a great resource allocator. In order to be a successful a person needs integrity, knowledge, patience, understanding and confidence.
