The first hardware firewall I found was the Ubiquiti Unifi Security Gateway. It is a gateway box that consists of three Ethernet cables and a million packets per second for 64-byte packets. This firewall can be used for small businesses but is intended for home use. Some of the pros of this device include (NetworkingTraining, 2021):

· The ability to monitor traffic before it reaches the local network

· A mobile app that can control remote management

· Good for GB ISP speeds

· Supports IDS/IPS

· The cost to install this firewall is $119.95 on Amazon.com

The next firewall researched is the Mikrotrik hEX Ethernet router which consists of a five port Ethernet port. It is easy to use and comes with 256Mb RAM. This router allows for the creation of a VPN as well as allows for the filtering of traffic. Some of the pros of this firewall include (NetworkingTraining, 2021):

· Effective cost of $57.91 making it one of the cheapest routers in the market

· Easy to set up in a home/office space

· RouterOS comes complimentary with the router

· Free firmware update and powerful firewall features.

The third firewall is Firewalla. This biggest downfall is that it isn’t compatible with all routers and its functionality is limited to a 100Mbps. It consists of a complete cybersecurity system which protects the users’ devices from any type of virus, malware, hacking or phishing. The firewall also has the ability to program in parental control which is great for families.
