WEEK 2: INDIVIDUAL CASE ANALYSIS

Instructions:

· Read the assigned case study.

· Your written report should present an analysis of the case study. This includes answers to all of the questions at the end of the case study. Create a separate section (with a section heading) for each question.

· You must cite your textbook and at least two other, credible sources.

· Create a 3-5 minute video summarizing your case analysis. See requirements below.

Writing Requirements:

· The paper should follow the APA style of citing references in the text and on the bibliography page. All references must be used for research and properly cited in the paper and in the bibliography.

· Ensure correct spelling and grammar (use built-in tool with MS Word).

· Must use at least two references outside of the text book. Credible reference sources are available through the DeVry Library and other sources. Please do not use Wikipedia.

· The response to the chapter cases must be 3-4 pages in length (excluding the cover page, table of contents, bibliography, and any attachments, which includes images, tables, or graphs), double spaced, using Times New Roman font, 12-point, using 1 inch margins, and headings for the paper format requirements.

Video Requirements and Guidelines:

· The video should be 3-5 minutes long and should summarize the case analysis. It can be done by just one of the team members.

· The video must be posted into the next week’s Team Case Analysis Discussion by the end of the current week (Sunday).

· If you have a camera built into your computer, the easiest way to add a video to your post is to click on "Record/Upload Media" icon in the menu of the text box where you enter your response in a discussion. Please see the graphic below.

· Other suggestions for video: Narrated PowerPoint, recorded video (.mp4), VoiceThread, Screencast-O-Matic (.mp4), or a similar tool of your choice. There should be a visual component as well as audio, so if you are using a webcam for the video that only shows you speaking, please attach your PowerPoint slide(s) (or screenshot images of them) to the post as well so everyone can see them.

Grading Rubric

The five case studies are worth 40 points each.
