Part I: Business Questions

In this section, you will expand on the business needs you identified and described in Milestone One and determine the questions stakeholders at SNHU Clothing might ask that could be answered with data. This will help you identify the types of data that can best address SNHU Clothing’s business needs.

1. Business Questions: Referring to the business needs you identified and described in Milestone One, predict the types of questions leaders at the company might ask that could be answered using data.

1. What systems need to be implemented to enhance task performance in the organization?

2. How beneficial will the implemented and upgraded management system be?

3. What expenses and cost will be needed to upgrade and install new management system?

4. What will be challenging between implementing new management system or upgrading the existing one?

2. Types of Data: Describe the types of data needed to answer those questions, referring to the different types of data that might be stored in client systems at SNHU Clothing that you brainstormed in Milestone One.

Customer related data are paramount to quench the company’s desire to understand the nature of systems that needs to be implemented to promote clients related information. Other data type paramount for the SNHU clothing’s is inventory data and sale data that will enhance understanding of needs the business has to adjust concerning the kept records of business transaction.

Part II: Systems and System Interactions

In this section, you will explain how you can meet SNHU Clothing’s business needs with current systems and system interactions.

3. Link: Illustrate how you will link SNHU Clothing’s systems to get the data that answers questions related to business needs. Use your description of the interrelationships between these systems from Milestone One as a starting point. Focus more on the general approach to linking these systems rather than the technical details. You may use a combination of text and visuals, such as a flowchart, to illustrate how you would link these systems.

Through use of more decent tracking system in the management, the SNHU can advance their inventory data system that will improve customer loyalty and perception. For instance, all stock and customer products need to have a stamp for the time and date of purchase. This will reduce future related errors or complains from clients about the company’s management system failure.

4. Gaps: Explain the gaps in data flow that are present in SNHU Clothing’s systems and system interactions. Consider how the systems could be incompatible in their interactions.

Lack of timestamps of sales and returns in customer relation will be the gap in the data flow which could be a cause of error.

Part III: Producing the Appropriate Reports

In this section, you will determine how to produce appropriate reports based on the business questions and current systems and system interactions.

5. Reports: Describe what types of reports you would need to produce in order to answer the business questions you determined.

Types of report to produce to respond to the business need are the financial report, sales report, different accounts report to enhance the businesses recognition of its operation and estimate whether they are moving on a positive or negative way.

6. Report Linking Data: Explain what type of information you might need from stakeholders at SNHU Clothing in order create a report linking data from various systems.

Stakeholder’s consultation will depend on the nature of how they need the report to be like. I will only seek assistance from relevant stakeholders after understanding whether there are vital data information left behind and may be needed to be in the current report

7. How and Who: Discuss how you would approach getting this information from stakeholders at SNHU Clothing, and which stakeholders might be able to provide this information.

To get information from stakeholders, I will utilize the interview, meetings and general observation tactics to get data from the relevant stakeholders like financial advisories, beneficiaries and managers of the business.

Reporting Tools: Now that you have determined relevant business questions for SNHU Clothing, as well as the organization’s systems and system interactions, describe the types of reporting tools that could be used to answer the business questions. Discuss the various ways that they could be used to create reports.

To report the relevant data information evaluated to help the organizational business needs, it is paramount to use tools that are easy for all users who will benefit from the data. For instance, in this case, the most beneficial tools to report are Izenda Embedded analytics that helps to integrate acquired data to existing information. Others are workday adaptive planning tool, Hive, ClicData and ProWorkflow tool. All these tools are crucial for SNHU clothing’s company.
