NUR 315 Milestone One: Selection of Case Guidelines and Rubric For Milestone One of the final project, you will choose a well-known individual from history or current popular literature who has a known physiological—as opposed to psychiatric or psychological—disease or illness of interest for instructor approval. You will introduce your chosen individual, describe the pathophysiology for your selected disease or illness, and explain the clinical manifestations. Prompt: Identify your selected case describing how the normal physiology is changed by the disease state. In addition, define pathophysiology, the clinical manifestations (i.e., signs and symptoms), and how each of these can be explained by alteration in physiology. Finally, a discussion of the extent to which the clinical manifestations affect multiple body systems for the case should be included in this first milestone for the final project in this course.
