Project management is the process of leading the work of a team to achieve goals and meet success criteria at a specified time. The primary challenge of project management is to achieve all of the project goals within the given constraints.

The Project Manager’s role is to ensure that the projects are financially viable and to raise an alert whenever there is a possibility or occurrence of a cost overrun.

The Project Manager’s role is to ensure that the overall objectives of the project are achieved with the participation of each individual member. 

A project manager works to find optimal balance between COST, SCOPE, and TIME called a project triangle.
