The training on taking on a communication practice is undertaken in the firm. The first way is through developing and not just training. Training involves developing people and ensuring that they come out of the training better than they were when they were beginning the training. The development helps them to come up with new inventions to help the company become better than their competition (McKeown, n.d). The company could also use tutorials to help people. This would help people learn about how to do a certain task through a step-to-step tutorial. The company could use YouTube tutorials as well, or they could also create theirs.
Additionally, another training method that could be used is role-playing. In this case, the person who is training the employees could take part in a task as a way of showing the employees what to do and what not to do (McKeown, n.d). This is a method that will yield the best results. The reason is that the trainees tend to see what the trainer wants from them and then they follow what he or she is doing. Therefore, there is little room for creation of mistakes.
Technical communication can be adapted using various ways. The first involves learning more about the company, the target audience and their expectations. After this, there is a need to look at what the company wants and the resources it must make sure that a company adopts that technical communication. This will help them to successfully meet the needs of the target audience and it will help them to make the businesses process better.
In a bid to adapt more to the communication practice, we hired technicians to help repair the communication services in case they broke down. This would help prevent a situation where things were at hold in the company due to lack of precise communication services (McKeown, n.d). The other thing we did was to hire some professionals who would help train our employees on how to use the new communication techniques and when they were to use it. They were to also learn how to use the right language to communicate and how to enhance professionalism during the conservation. The employees of the company shall get to know about this via some trained officers who will teach them how to use this process and to make sure about the successful transmission of messages between audience.
The workers were to also learn on how to adapt to the new modes of communication. First, the firm’s top management would call them for a meeting and they would teach them on the values they should have being workers of the company (McKeown, n.d). For instance, they should be open- minded and embrace every technological advancement that comes up with it. For instance, on the case of technical communication, the employees could embrace the ways of communicating as well as going ahead and giving ideas of ways of improving it. The efforts shall be made to make sure that this training program gets to each employee of the company for their better communication in future and in this step other team member shall be directed to learn about this in depth. This training program may have presentation lectures, seminars and practical scenario so get one to one knowledge about it in depth.
