Running Head: TOTAL REWARD PROGRAM 1

TOTAL REWARD PROGRAM 2

Portfolio Milestone 3: Total Rewards Program

For the purposes of ensuring that the employees’ interaction, production and morale are improved, the rewarding should be carried out based on their performance. The most performing employees should be highly motivated for the purposes of ensuring that their morale is improved therefore enabling them to work for the success of the organization. (Dufour, 2019)

The total reward program should not discriminate the employees and it should therefore be able to bring about positive impacts to the organization. When the employees are motivated, through the total rewarding program, it becomes easy for them to work towards achieving the goals and the objectives of the organization. Moreover, equity should be enhanced as that will ensure that the morale of the employees is not lowered.

On the other hand, the total reward program should be able to improve the performance of the employees as well as the organization. This will play significant roles in ensuring that the set goals and objectives of the organization are achieved in the set time. Again, the increased performance of the employees will lead to increased profitability of the organization hence ensuring that the sustainability of the organization is achieved. (Song, 2019)

In a situation whereby, the sustainability of an organization is achieved as a result of an effective total reward program, the business is encouraged to fund different projects hence ensuring that the set goals and objectives are achieved. The management of an organization should ensure the total reward program is carried out in an open manner for the purposes of ensuring the employees are not discriminated. Again, fairness should be observed in the total reward program for the purposes of ensuring that the morale of the employees is not influenced negatively. (Sun, 2019)
