Length: 4-6 pages, double-spaced
Topic: Complete an analysis of yourself as a member (or potential member) of a work organization, including the nature of your participation in teams or other groups and, in particular, your project team group. Use concepts from the textbook and from classwork (including assessments) to frame your analysis. You should include:
· Self-Assessment: Provide a summary of your personality, preferences, and styles, using the results of the MBTI and DiSC tools, as well as other concepts from the textbook and lectures, to identify your strengths and weaknesses in communications, interpersonal relationships, information processing, and teamwork.
· Development Planning: On the basis of your self-assessment, what developmental objectives might you establish for yourself to increase your effectiveness in work organizations and teams?
· Team Participation: In light of the above, analyze your current and potential contribution to the group project team you are working with. What roles on the team suit you best? Where will you be of most value? How can you use your experience working with this team as a developmental opportunity?
