Midterm exam question

I am posting here a short answer question that will be on the midterm exam. You can research it

now, write your answer and then just copy and paste onto the midterm exam.

The question will be worth 10 points.

In chapter 5, the textbook discusses how algae can be used as an alternate source of energy. I

have posted a case study on how corn can also be used as an alternative source of energy. You

can read through it but if you go to the last 2 pages, you will find some pros and cons of using

corn to produce ethanol.

Your assignment is from this list of pros and cons, to choose one statement. Then, find at least

one outside source other than the textbook (either a REPUTABLE website containing at least 3

paragraphs of information or article). Write 2 paragraphs IN YOUR OWN WORDS discussing

your statement and include a citation from your source. You will not get any credit if you do

not provide a source.

This assignment will NOT be submitted through the assignment folder. Instead, it will be a

question on the midterm exam.
