Police in American Society

Many Officers today do not realize that past struggles of the minority pioneers and some of the hurdles that have been overcome. Prepare a 3-4 page paper outlining the obstacles that used to keep certain groups out of law enforcement, the progress minorities have made over the years, and the intervention and court rulings that have facilitated these gains. Try to use recent examples as well thorough-out your paper, for we all know that there is a lot of movements and incidences that has recently or is currently taking place in America today. 

Make sure you include a title page and reference page; the title page and reference page will not count towards your 3 to 4 page total. For this paper you are to use 12 point font, times new roman, double spaced, 1 inch margins, and APA formatting with in-text citations. A total of 4 outside scholarly sources need to be included in your paper including the use of your book (at least 5 sources).  Remember to summarize not plagiarize. If your work is found to be plagiarized, points will either be taken off or zero points will be given.

The mid-term is due by the end of Friday 10/09/2020 at 11:59pm (No Exceptions!); please ensure that you give yourself plenty of time to complete the mid-term on time.
