MHC 610 Week Five Journal Guidelines and Rubric

Overview: This journal activity is private between you and the instructor. It will allow you to retrieve and review the documents surrounding past work on case conceptualization. Refer back to Chapters 4, 5, 6, and 11 in Case Conceptualization and Effective Interventions to review client cases that deal with treatment interventions, counseling interventions, and how to apply theory, as well as a different case conceptualization model for application. Prompt: In this journal activity, you will reflect on your final project from COU 530. (Although the rubric document is linked in the Week One resources section, it is best to use your work from COU 530, if it’s available.) Review the Final Project Part Three Guidelines and Rubric document for this course to analyze how this activity aligns with your future submission. Specifically, the following critical elements must be addressed:

I. Explain how the single theoretical orientation or integrated personal approach will support the treatment plan for the client. II. Reflect on the single theoretical orientation or integrated personal approach and the diagnosis as you create goals, objectives, and interventions.

III. Describe how your understanding of your single theoretical orientation or integrated personal approach has evolved since the beginning of this term.
