Introduction
Leadership coaching is becoming a trend for those who are looking to expand their leadership horizons. This discussion is designed to explore your thoughts on developing a coaching program in your own organization.
Tasks
Discuss how you would develop and implement a leadership coaching program in your organization. In doing so, be sure to address:
· How you will incorporate the leadership coaching plan with the organization’s mission
· How leaders will develop goals for specific situations
· How your program will address at least one of the following:
· To prepare for a position that requires substantively different leadership skills than you currently possess
· To take a new position within your organization
· To transition to a new organization
· To improve your performance when someone has expressed concern about a deficit in your leadership skills that may be negatively affecting your performance
