The past round brought better than expected results. Team Baldwin discuss concerns regarding continuing to increase contribution margins. We need to increase sales and watch variable costs.

R&D-Continued to increase product performance and reduce size to remain competitive in both low and high tech market segments.

Marketing -Added to promo and sales budget to increase product awareness and accessibility. Increased forecast closer to previous round lost opportunity.

Production – Continued to invest in capacity and automation. Put production close to current max capacity.

Finance – Paid more toward long-term debt. Also, purchased back stock and increase dividend paid.

Summary of your own responsibilities in this round, and how you contributed to the analysis and decision making.

This week was a real challenge on our goals as I did not improve my overall knowledge to achieve Sales projections. I continued to focus on our team’s decisions and what the results on the goals was. We did achieve our goal, but I believe our contribution margins will be hard to improve since this week resulted in an overall improvement of .1%
