“Read Chapter 1, and 2 thoroughly from the book prescribed for this course and Answer the following Assignment questions”.

The Assignment is divided into 2 Parts.

Part 1.

a. Define ethics. Highlight the relationship between Law and Business ethics. (1.5 Marks)

b. Do you think business ethics is important? Why or why not? (1.5 Marks)

c. Discuss the importance of trust in business. Can you cite examples? What happens when trust is lost? (2 Marks)

d. Do you believe that employees are more attracted and committed to ethical organizations? Are you? Why or why not? Highlight a list of the companies you would prefer to work for in KSA and state the reasons why. Are there also companies that you would refuse to work for? Why? (3 Marks)

Part 2

a. Define Ethical Dilemma. Can you think of something that is legal but unethical, or something that is ethical but illegal? (2 Marks)

e. Write a detailed essay on prescriptive approaches to ethical decision making in business. (4 Marks)
