Please answer the following questions (100 points)

Q1. Explain the characteristics of a project. What are the dimensions of project management? Discuss the importance of those dimensions and provide examples (20 points)

Characteristic of a project:

1. A project has a certain time period within which it needs to be completed. It has to be predetermined within the time boundary which needs to be met by the project manager.

1. Generally, a project is distinct from a usual business that has a set method.

1. Each project has one or more clients whose needs must be met via project completion.

1. Each project has various needs that the project manager has to fulfil.

Dimensions of project management:

1. Scope: The scope of a project shows the project management exactly what has to be done in order for it to be completed. It specifies the project's needs and tasks for the completion of the project within its time-limit.

1. Time: The time dimension of a project specifies the time frame in which the product must be produced. It establishes the time constraints within which a project manager must organize his actions.

1. Budget: The project management dimension specifies the restricted resources available to the project manager in order to finish it.
