MGT 365 Week 5 Discussion - Post And Response 2
In 2004 C.K. Prahalad at the University of Michigan published a book about doing business "at the bottom of the pyramid" (see below), suggesting that businesses could make a profit and also do good by targeting the poorest sectors of the world economy. This idea quickly was followed by KIVA.. a website where average people could invest in micro-enterprises in these parts of the world. ( https://www.kiva.org/ )
