Case Assignment
Objective: Secure a Management Position
Finding the perfect balance between bragging and underselling is crucial when you are interviewing for a new position. Multimedia presentations are the norm today, as are video interviews. Over the last three modules, you learned about your leadership abilities. Put that to work for you.
For this case, you will create a presentation that describes who you are as a leader and why an organization should hire you for the position. (NOTE: the position for which you are applying can be fictitious. To make the most of this exercise, you should be qualified for the job by the end of your degree program).
Presentation Script
· Create a script to accompany the presentation. It should be persuasive and targeted at those who are making a hiring decision. It can be written in a professional conversational style, but since you are engaging in research, be sure to cite in the script and add a reference list in APA format.
Video Presentation
· Video yourself presenting the 3- 3 ½ minute interview video. Set your digital camera to video your face and upper torso. This will allow the viewer to see your hand gestures and facial expressions. Do not read your script.

SCRIPT: A Word document using the attached template ( MGT301 Case4 Script ), which MUST contain a YouTube or Vimeo video link to your presentation (should be 3-3 ½ minutes maximum). Content beyond 3 ½ minutes will not be considered for grading. Do not upload the video to the classroom since the file size may make it too large.
Assignment Expectations
This assignment calls for two separate submissions:
1. A video in YouTube or Zoom format, 2-3 minutes long
2. Completed Charisma Assessment Template based on the form to be found in Table of Contents/Presentations, following Module 4 and above the Boundless Textbook.

Using the template provided, complete the comprehensive SLP for MGT301. Since you have a series of different references lists for each assignment, you’ll need to combine them for this submission. NOTE: there are three sections that require updated content.

Narrative Overview of Managerial or Supervisory Experience (SLP1)
Module 1: Week 1 Discussion Post
Share at least two leadership characteristics that are appealing to you, and provide rationale or background as to why you believe these traits will be beneficial to you and your future employees.
On the flip side, share a supervisory nightmare you may have experienced or heard about. Make sure we understand why you deem it a negative experience for workers.

· Incentives: research the type of incentives that work for helping employees meet objectives.
