1. Choose a company that you're interested in

2. List 4-6 resources and/or capabilities that your chosen company has

3. Evaluate whether any of those resources and/or capabilities could potentially be a source of sustainable advantage.

Note: Remember, you should be analyzing resources and capabilities, not products, decisions, or outcomes.  Also, it's important to not advocate for the company, but to gain insight into it.  Don't pre-judge and assume that a company has a competitive advantage because many don't!
