Rabbitfoot Community Bank Rabbitfoot Community Bank makes a large number of home equity loans each year. The vice president of home administration wishes to determine if their time for paperwork processing is lower than the average time of their top competitor. Data for a sample of 30 loans taken at Rabbitfoot Bank are provided in the accompanying MGMT_368_Case_1.xlsx file. Data of 36 loan applications obtained from the competitor bank are also provided in the same Excel file. Please upload your individual Microsoft Excel solution file, with each question answered in separate sheets of the same file, on Blackboard by the due date. Questions. 1) Using the Excel Descriptive Statistics tool from the Data Analysis tool-pack summarize the
sample data from the Rabbitfoot Community Bank and its competitor separately. (5 + 5 = 10 points)
2) Test the null hypothesis that Rabbitfoot’s average processing time is greater than or equal to the competitor’s average, versus the alternative hypothesis that the bank’s average processing time is less than that of the competitor at 5% significance level.
