RE: Annotated Bibliography

I. Assignment: The annotated bibliography is a document that contains correct APA citations and a 3 to 5 sentence summary of the source with an additional 3 to 5 sentence analysis (This means 2 paragraphs per source).

· Sources: This assignment requires 10 sources that are divided as follows:

· Teams/Team Building: Five (5) sources

· Leadership: Five (5) sources (You can find sources on different types of leadership as well)

· Divide your paper into two (2) sections with headings: One where you alphabetize the Leadership sources and one where you alphabetize the Teams/Team Building sources.

· Use APA formatting for the citation

· Annotations: The annotation includes two (2) paragraphs—one paragraph of summary and one paragraph of analysis. These paragraphs should include:

· Summary: Focuses on information from the source that is important to your essay response (see below); should be 3 to 5 sentences.

· Analysis: Focuses on how important this source is to the overall concept; contains your opinion of the source’s usefulness; should be 3 to 5 sentences

0. Include at least five (5) differing sources such as a website, a blog, a book, a journal, newspaper, business magazine, a wiki, a podcast, or some other source.

0. Remember to add the annotations to the citations!

0. APA format is required for all work.

0. Format: Double space with Times New Roman/Calibri/Cambria 12 pt font. (APA requires double spacing annotated bibliographies.)

II. Additional Information: These sources will be used in your responses to the discussion questions on Exam 1 in Unit 1. You will need to formulate a concept of what leadership means to you and of what teams are and how they perform well. You may want to find sources that address those concepts.

You also can find sources that are “bad” sources. If so, then you will analyze them that way (no more than two).
