online public relations lit review
CMM 546: Digital & Online Public Relations
Methods section First Draft: DUE November 5.
Methods section Guidelines
Purpose
The purpose of the Methods section is to describe the techniques and measures you plan to use to answer the hypotheses/research questions you proposed in your literature review.
The Methods section should first mention what method type (i.e., experiment, survey, focus group, interviews, content analysis) would be most appropriate to answer your hypotheses and research questions. In this description, you will describe your population, sample, and sampling frame (i.e., where are you getting your subjects from).
The next step is to specify the variables you are looking at. This should include the specification of independent variables, dependent variables, and any other variable types (predictor, mediating, moderating).
This portion should be 3-5 pages (approximately).
Please schedule a one-on-one to discuss a variety of methods and how it could fit with your project idea.
