Formal Report Methodology

For this week's assignment I will be discussing the methodology in which I will gather the research for my formal report. There are several resources that I will tap into to collect my data to better educate on the challenges of time management and adequate funding and how they affect college students of today. I will be using the Internet to search for material to support my research. Books, journals, and different articles will be key tools for this assignment. I will study statistics from the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FASFA) as well as compare the statistics of scholarships -vs- non scholarship enrollments throughout the U.S. It is also important for me to evaluate the number of college enrollments –vs- the number of college completion rates. Looking at the demographics, including age, location, marital status, and background of college students will be useful in determining if a student has adequate time as well as funding needed to pursue a college career. The methodology of my research will take me to resources that will help me to explain and make the case on how time management and adequate funding are two of the major challenges affecting college students today.
