Mental health is attained when a person has psychological well-being. There is a lot of organization around the world which is entitled to providing and fighting for the well-being of all human beings. One of the organization is the ‘The Trevor Project’ ("Trevor Project ? Saving Young LGBTQ Lives," n.d.), which is a non-profit organization which deals with avoiding suicides from the LGBT community. The second organization is the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) ("NAMI: National Alliance on Mental Illness," n.d.), this organization is formed to cater to the mentally ill people, in the United States. The third organization is the American Mental Health Foundation (AMHF) ("American Mental Health Foundation," n.d.) Operating as a non-profit organization which caters for the people who have emotional and mental health. This organization mainly specializes in researches more on advanced mental-health.

The organizations are certainly seen to operate under one common theme which is catering to the people who are affected by mental illness, however, they vary in specialization. Still, the organization is seen focusing mostly on the emotional mental illness, which can be brought by the previous torture to the affected people. AMHF mainly focuses on dealing with people with posttraumatic stress disorder, (PTSD). It also helps beat racism and any other type of segregation, in which it ensures all people are treated well no matter their backgrounds. NAMI, on the other hand, this organization fight for and educates on people affected by mental illnesses. The Trevor Project, its main theme, is helping the Lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender and questioning, (LGBTQ) in which the organization helps theme overcoming the discriminations they get within the society due to their sexual orientation.

Depression is when a person has the low mood, still, it is the aversion which affects the people thoughts. All organization is treating depression, which however is raised by different motives. NAMI has members who are the one who consumes the mental health services.it offers education in which helps in advising people who are mentally ill, such as people with depression. AMHF doing researches about mental illness can be able to notice people who are affected by depression, its mission helps the people with depression get medication no matter the background. The Trevor Project, dedicating its services to LGBTQ, clearly treats a lot of people with depression. Most of the LGBTQ society are affected by discrimination from the society, which may lead to suicide, the organization has counselors who advised and counsels these sided communities in recovering from depression and suicide attempts.
